This is a used machine, but it was looked after to the highest standards, such as descaling every month, the steam nozzle is cleaned thoroughly after every use, etc. It has also been fully serviced and not used since the service. It is a very good machine! Check the recommendations for coffee beans at the end of this description, and you will taste coffee like you have never experienced before! Number of Cups : 2 (height adjustable from small espresso cups to large mugs). Bar Pressure :15 bar (nesessary for extracting the best flavour from the coffee beans). Coffee Type : Ground Coffee and Whole Beans. Colour : Black with silver drip tray. 1.8 Litre Water Tank. Built-in Water Filter (although not included). Automatic Self-Cleaning (program tells you when to descale, etc). Material : Plastic with Stainless Steel drip tray. The reason is that coffee loses its flavour from the time it is roasted. Most supermarkets will stock beans that are months old and not superior quality. Trust me, you will taste the difference. Also, medium roasted beans will give the best flavour dark roasted beans are not stronger in flavour... They are just over cooked! In particular, the following medium roasted beans. These coffees have been tried and tested and are all amazing. They are not super expensive either (as some other places are) but are well worth every penny! They roast the coffee beans to order, and you will receive freshly roasted beans (showing a roasted date) within a few days.
